So the next wedding for our blog was another January wedding. Amy and Matt’s wedding took place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tampa and the reception was at The Tampa Club. Amy got ready at the Tampa Regency Hyatt which is also a great location for pictures. Those three venues are so close together we were able to park at the church and walk to the Hyatt and The Tampa Club from there. It’s always nice for the guests to have a short transit between the ceremony and reception site. Also walking to The Tampa Club gave us an opportunity to do pictures along the way. Amy and Matt were such a great couple to work with and we captured a lot of great candid moments throughout the day.  The invitations were done by Not From a Box and were as wonderful as always. Okay, so I’m doing really good here with the blog posts except I’m about to break out of sequence.  Hey, rules are meant to be broken, right?  Actually, I have a good excuse for going out of order.  I didn’t have time to get the next wedding in sequence ready to post because I was shooting a wedding today.  So, you guessed correctly, this post is from today’s wedding at the Sandpearl.  The weather held off just long enough for Michele and Tommy to have their ceremony on the beach (just like they hoped) and we got some beautiful images.  As long as it’s not raining, storms make for some spectacular skies.  Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned for the rest when I get caught up to current times.  Oh, and how cool is that to have a bonfire on the beach in August!

I’m on a roll with my blog posts now!  Okay, well two in a row is good, right  I hope it makes sense that I’m posting from the beginning of the year forward.  That way I figure once I get caught up it will be in the right order with the latest posts towards the front.

The next wedding we had in January was Tiffany and Jesse’s wedding which took place on January 16th and 17th.  On the 16th they had their church ceremony at Espiritu Santo Catholic church with their close friends and family.  On Saturday they had a beach ceremony at the Tradewinds Beach Resort on St. Petersburg Beach.  We had previously photographed Tiffany’s sister Desiree’s wedding so it was great to work with the family again.  I love the picture of the bald eagle on the cross at the church.  How cool is that!  We also got some beautiful pictures at the beach the next day and Tiffany’s good friend Quinn (who works at the Don Cesar) performed the ceremony – making it very personal for them.  I hope you enjoy their pictures as we certainly enjoyed taking them!

Welcome to the third (and hopefully final) version of our blog.  I have been negligent once again in keeping up with the blog for the last few weeks.  I know it’s not a good excuse but I was really putting all my time and attention into getting the new website up and running and our FB Fan page.  This new version will definitely allow me to keep it updated on a more regular basis and really showcase my images bigger.  I’m going to be starting at the beginning of this year and posting forward.  Hopefully I can get caught up to the present but at least you will have a visual journey of all we have had the privilege of photographing so far throughout this year.  I hope you enjoy what I have to share and definitely feel free to post some comments and pass it along to all your friends and family.

These images are from the first wedding we had this year.  Linnie and Craig were married on January 3rd at the Don Cesar (which just happens to be one of our favorite venues).  We had so much fun with them and it was definitely a great way to start out the year.  I especially love all of the details and the shots of them first seeing each other.  I know it’s not traditional but it’s really hard to beat the images that we capture from those moments!
